Every year, DQA organises a congress around Data Quality and they hand out an award to the company that submitted the best Data Quality case.

Jan Henderyckx is one of the specialists who will thoroughly examine the files of the nominees for the DQ Award and who will decide who will receive the desirable 3DQ Award of the jury.

Christoph Balduck will give a lecture about the link between data privacy & protection vs. data quality, mainly with regards to matching and merging.
It will be about the need for good DQ and how your business can severely suffer from ignoring good DQ for privacy (blocking of records, breach on breach,…). Furthermore, it will also be about where the matching & merging is actually performed: what type of matching will you perform in the ID mgt. solution (between your front-end and MDM) and what will you do in the backend MDM?
